Description: This course trains participants in the professional habits and workplace behaviors that support success in the skilled trades including being ready and reliable at work, professionalism and respect, effective communication, accountability and coachability, teamwork, and building a strong professional reputation. Emphasis is placed on arriving prepared and on time, following through on commitments, communicating appropriately with supervisors, coworkers, and customers, asking questions when needed, responding constructively to feedback and mistakes, showing initiative within one's role, providing effective shift handoffs, and developing the trust that can lead to greater responsibility and career opportunities.
